Meal Plans 2024-2025

Meal plan selection is made during the housing selection process. 

If would like to purchase a meal plan or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, please email mealplan@ramapo.edu with your selection. Include: First and last name and Banner ID Number (R#). Questions regarding any meal plan information can be directed to the Dining Services Office at (201) 684-7773.
Students residing in Pine, Bischoff, Mackin, Laurel and Overlook Halls are required to purchase a meal plan each semester.

Note that this bonus is only available until the Fall '24 Semester 100% refund date: Tuesday, September 10th. After September 10th, 2024, all Flex requests will be processed as Ramapo Dollars. 

Flex Dollars can be used at any of our retail locations, for student catering and to pay for guest meals at Birch Tree Inn. They will carry over from Fall Semester to Spring Semester, granted that the student maintains aTraditional Meal Plan from the list below.

Ramapo Dollars are used the same as Flex Dollars but may be used in the college bookstore. Ramapo Dollar balances carry over from semester to semester and are non-refundable for any reason.

How to Purchase: 
Purchases at the Dining Services office must be made using cash or checks. Office is located on the 1st floor of the Student Center. 
You can also purchase Flex or Ramapo Dollars via email. Students must send their request to ramapodollars@ramapo.edu using their Ramapo email account. The request must include: Student's complete first and last name, Banner ID Number (R#) and the requested Flex or Ramapo Dollar Amount.

Please allow 72 hours for any Flex or Ramapo Dollar transactions to be processed.

The Ultimate

With unlimited access to Birch Tree Inn, this plan offers students the "ultimate" in flexibility and access. Stop in for a coffee and a bagel on the way to class, join us for a leisurely dinner, or enjoy Late Night Dining - this plan provides it all. In addition to unlimited access, the plan includes $200 FLEX per semester, which can be used at any of our retail locations, for student catering, and to pay for guest meals at Birch Tree Inn. The Ultimate meal plan option does not include takeout.

Maroon 14

$2600.00		The Maroon 14 offers a little less structure. Students on this plan have a total of any 14 meals per week in The Birch Tree Inn, including Late Night Dining. This plan also includes $300 FLEX per semester, which can be used at any of our retail locations, student catering and to pay for guest meals at Birch Tree Inn.

Tasty 10

$2330.00		The Tasty 10 is for the student on the go. It offers any 10 meals per week at Birch Tree Inn, including Late Night Dining. This plan includes $500 FLEX per semester, which can be used for additional meals, at any of our retail locations, student catering and to pay for guest meals at Birch Tree Inn.

Commuters and apartment students have a great new, economical meal plan option with Block Plans! Block Plans give you 25 or 50 meals at Birch Tree Inn plus a set amount of FLEX to use at other campus locations. Commuters and apartment students may choose from any Traditional Meal Plan or Flex Plan as well.
